For all the Midwest players out there …
My team, the Wisconsin Women, is hosting the second (and last) Midwest 15’s Selects Camp this Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22. Hopefully, everyone who’s eligible and interested has heard about it and is attending. It’s an open try-out camp for players 18 & over.
Midwest Women’s 15s All-Star Camp
This two-day camp is the second of two camps for selecting and preparing the Midwest Women’s All-star 15s team for this season’s All-Star events.
Players are expected to attend one of the two camps to be eligible for selection.
Saturday will include sessions on continuity, defense, set piece possessions, and minor fitness testing (no bleep test, perhaps a timed 40). The Sunday morning session will focus on team play with scrimmages in the early afternoon. All experienced players are welcome to attend. Coaches are also welcome!
