My brother runs his own online retail business – BigHappyBuddha.com – specializing in Buddha statues, meditation tools and books, etc. I probably don’t talk about him enough on here. He’s the worlds’ best older brother.
His business started from an interest he had for the religions and spirituality of the East. It took off from there and now he makes a living from this interest and sharing it with others. Plus, he sometimes gets featured in the news and magazines. Cool. 🙂
He also sends out small readings everyday to over 5,000 subscribers. He calls them Early Morning Buddhist Inspirations. People really enjoy them. I also helped him start a blog to archive these before I even started Saturday’s A Rugby Day. He enjoys posting his new Inspirations and searching for wacky pictures to post with them.
Anyway, this was Monday’s EMBI and I thought it was worth sharing …
Early Morning Buddhist Inspiration

Thus we see that the all-important thing is not killing or giving life, drinking or not drinking, living in the town or the country, being lucky or unlucky, winning or losing. It is how we win, how we lose, how we live or die; finally, how we choose. We walk, and our religion is shown (even to the dullest and most insensitive person), in how we walk. Living in this world means choosing, and the way we choose to walk is infallibly and perfectly expressed in the walk itself.

That one struck me a bit.
