Just love the blog.
Here is a quick update on the USA U19 WNT 2006 Tour…….coming to a town near you.
In the middle of March we were at the U19 Nash Bash and it was a great event with some wonderful rugby. A big shout out to Annie Antar and Sheri Hunt who made this a fun trip. This weekend we were in Colorado Springs and got see some good players from Colorado, New Mexico and California. Karl Barth and Dustin George put together a solid event and we came away with some players who will definitely make the 2006 Squad. The tour rolls on next week when we are in Olympia, Washington on the 8th. We follow this with Philadelphia on the 15th and Milwaukee on the 22nd………HELLO WISCONSIN!!!!!!
Numbers are good at these events but we encourage coaches to send more players……especially the college coaches. Players are eligible for the USA U19 Women’s National Team if they were born on or after January 1st 1987. They can be high school, college or club players but must be CIPP’d and meet the age requirement.
We have a great ten day event in June (5th – 15th) that will include two games as part of the USA U23 NASC and we follow this with two Internationals against the Canada U19 National Team who are probably the #1 team in the world at the moment. The first of the Canada games will be the curtain raiser to the USA WNT V Canada Women game.
We have seen some really good players but the squad is not set and there are still spots up for grabs, Here are the contacts for the upcoming camps………it’s not too late to sign up =)

If any readers have contacts with potential U-19 players for the Eagles, please be sure to pass on this information. We’re all on the same team.
I’m supposed to be helping out with our Wisconsin U-19 program, so hopefully I’ll be able to fit in an appearance at the Milwaukee camp to help out. Fun.
