Is Fall Rugby Going to be Scrapped?

Kurt Oeler’s posting more on the USA Rugby board’s upcoming meeting and issues they are looking at, including (to my ignorance) a plan to make rugby only a spring and summer sport … what’s that all about?

Does anyone know more about this?

Added: Almost forgot. Turns out it’s not up to Arnot and Execs to make it a closed meeting.

In the Comments: Mary says “It will be interesting to see this spring-summer thing played out especially since USA rugby just recently moved the women’s championships to the fall.”

I agree. Didn’t we just change our whole women’s competitive schedule to have league seasons in the fall and developmental seasons in the spring, which leaves 7s & 10s in the summer? Are they now going to just move our league season to spring or summer instead? This is pretty confusing, at least for the senior women. But all other groups (including collegiate women) still play in the old schedule.
